This could be both fun and also very useful.

"Exciting news! We have been working closely with airnavsystems.com on a new web-based flight tracking system. We are beta testing it at this point and would value your feedback. So Check It Out and let us know what you like, dislike, what features you would like added, removed, etc. using the "Contact Us form above."

    http://www.aeroseek.com/webtrax/

Punch in the Airline and Flight number and it shows a map. National overview and Local overview.

Click on - NEW! Track this flight in 3D via Google Earth!

You download a Google Earth file and shows the flight as a location in Google Earth, updating every minute.

You can click on a smaller less complete image that first appears, and you get and see a larger view of a flight being tracked as above. Google Earth is a free download, PC or Mac.

There's lots more stuff on there too, so check out the links etc.

Would this be useful to keep track of "Baked Bean Man's" whereabouts?

Hopefully hopeful in Hopesdale, Hoops ed

    Very good Primmy,

Can you track 2 flights at the same time? Like the flight you are on going to San Diego and the one w/your baggage going to Miami?

And never the twain shall meet, Been there ed

Only if your baggage handler had coke and baked beans for lunch.:p Then it all ends up on carousel #42 in kalamazoo.

Most of us get around that problem these days by paying extra for excess baggage..throw away the boarding pass then squeezing into that 3 suiter samsonite..:thumb: then it does not matter where your baggage ends up.

I'm not gonna have anything more to do w/the excess baggage ploy! Last time I was at the ticket counter smoozing w/the cute ticket puncher Wifey overheard me complaining about excess baggage. I should be out of traction in a couple of weeks and from now on I'll be traveling light....most likely alone!

I heard about the problem you had in Germany..:ouch: wifey now sleeps in the Lobby to keep an eye on the baggage...and you share the blankie with the cats at the local Bed and Beans. 42 kilos is also usually my limit..

Yeah...an those are only the ones that they admit to! Most of them were found sitting on a Barstool w/their neighbors "Pool Guy".
