    I wrote to ESET Australia:

Subject: ESET Australia Smart Security Upgrade

I'm registered for 4 PCS, User Name: AV-6xxxxxx, Password: cxxxxxxxxx.

I read on your website the free upgrade to ESS is delayed. It's not advertised on the US website. Can I get it from you when it becomes available? I hope it's not just advertising hype! :)

The free upgrade to ESS is not available in the US. :(

As far as I know, in the US you should get the remaining time of your current license as a free bonus to an upgrade to ESS.

    Hey!!!!!!!!!

I asked Makalita at ESET if I could post her E-mail and she said OK as long as I didn't post her E-mail address!

    I didn't!

You didn't say that in your post.

At any rate, the question has been answered.

ESET head office in San Diego told me there is no free upgrade to ESS.

I have 1.5 years left to run on 4 PCS.

I can get the "free" bonus if I pay to renew for another 2 years now.

What's wrong with this picture? :(
