    Hello,

I´m currently using Avira free, SandBoxie and Comodo firewall with D+.
However, after some reading, i stopped trusting in Comodo Group and i´ve decided to uninstall their software.

Since my laptop is old (Pentium 1.60GHz, 512Mb RAM), i' am thinking to maintain Avira and Sandboxie and to use only Windows XP firewall and a standalone, free and lightweighted HIPS. What do you guys think? Can someone please advice me a HIPS with that characteristics?

    Thanks a lot! :)

PC Tools' Threatfire is a good, free HIPS, whilst Microsoft's Windows Defender also provides some useful protection at no cost.

Prevx 3 is also free to download. It'll scan your system and verify that it's clean. It warns if you ever get infected, but you have to purchase a licence to get real-time protection or to use it to remove malware.

Thanks a lot for the replies. After some more reading and considering, i´ve decided to kept Comodo firewall and Defense+. :thumb:
