    Dear members, visitors and lurkers,

    It is my pleasure to announce, we will provide 20 free licenses for the outstanding Acronis True Image v7.0 Software at random amongst our registered users as soon as we have reached the 15,001 registered member barrier.

    Our sincere thanks to Acronis for providing these licenses. We are very happy to host their Official Acronis Support Forum.

    The rules are plain and simple:

    - all registered members automaticallly participate;
    - Wilders Staff members are excluded from participation;
    - double registered members are excluded from participation;
    - the licenses will be provided to the winners as is;
    - at random chosen winners will be contacted by email. In case
    we don't receive a confirmation email back coming from a non-web based
    email address within 5 days, all rights to a free license are withdrawn;
    - our decisions are final and not open for discussion in any way.

    Best of luck to all of you!

    On behalf of our staff,

    regards.

    Paul Wilders

    Let me get this right: you are giving away licenses for free? TI is for sure the best backup software available! How about including guests in this? If not, I'm going to register for sure - just promise me I will be amongst the winners :)

    Guests cannot be included - there is no way to compile a list of guests, much less to know which guests may be using more than one alias. Tough enough with members, after all.

    Hey Detox,

    As an expection to the rule: in case I'll drop you an email, can you make an exception to the rule? This is awesome software - and this poor soul does have a wallet, alas and empty one...

    I use Acronis True Image v6.0 and it is fantastic. I have also used DiskImage 4.0 and 2002 by PowerQuest and Norton Ghost 2001 and 2002. Acronis True Image is a real winner.

    Shhhh! ;) You'll take this thread off-topic and then Paul will have to lock it and beat us all with a big stick... :D

    Wondering (vaguely) back on-topic, I should note that since PowerQuest have been assimilatedtaken over by Symantec, Drive Image is likely to be heading downhill (unless they just kill if off completely). :(

    I'm a new member and don't have the slightest inkling of what this new software is. It must be something special ,for people are excited about it. I feel you must be one hell of a person to treat your members with such kindness. I think I'm going to like being a part of this crew.
    Take Care Everyone,
    Marc

    The at random picked winners will be contacted within aprox. a week from now. We won't publish the members names ( a matter of privacy)- but will leave it up to each individual winner to announce s/he has been one of the lucky ones over in this thread ;).

    regards.

    I am one of the 15000+ members to register I think...

    I hope I still have a chance to win and that I'm not too late :doubt:

    I just downloaded the Acronis True Image program to test. I already use (and paid for) Paragon Drive Manager, but had a few problems. So, I decided to try another one. I call that "investing in the future..."

    Nice forum...

    Well, I tried it (Acronis True Image), but it froze while installing on my Win Me system.

    Restarted my system, it froze again when I tried to backup my drive C

    With Paragon DriveBackup, I had to use version 5.6 on my Win Me system to make it work. Version 6.0 was working on my laptop with Win XP, but not on Win Me.

    Maybe it's the same kind of problem...

    Too bad. :'(
