It's always sad to hear the loss of a Wilders member, specially one who was very active and informative, as Franklin was.
Even though i didn't participate, I really liked reading his spam/rogue AV threads, organized and to the point. Really cool.
And his tests with Sandboxie. He reassure those who use it, and helped people configure it.

    Franklin, rest in peace.
    Deanne, my condolences.

"My father would always try & teach his girls about viruses, threats, trojans etc & we'd stand behind him with blank looks on our faces."

The best portrait of him I can imagine. Always a kindly teacher.

May God grant you strength and "The peace which passes all understanding" until you meet again.

My dear Deanne, what shocking news, I have only just seen this thread.

I can only offer my deepest sympathy at the loss of your beloved Father. I know how badly it hurts. I had a little to do with him on Wilder's, liked him a lot and had a high regard for his astounding knowledge and generosity in helping other members on a variety of subjects and problems.

It really is devastating news that a such an active and like-able person is sadly taken so suddenly from his family, his friends and of course all his Worldwide Forum buddies who loved him so dearly.

I do hope you find out what caused this shocking and unexpected tragedy. It will not help of course, but at least from what you said, he never suffered.

My very sad regrets at having to write this post.

    Hello Deanne,

You have my deepest condolences and sympathies. This is shocking and very sad news. I did not know him too well, but I had some private message exchanges with him from time to time and from what I could perceive, he was a very good man. Rest in Peace, Franklin.
