Fragmentation

    Hello, When creating a backup, for example the C:, which is then the temporary drive, or can that be chosen, and is that drive then very fragmented ?

    Actualy I mean this: when backup the C:, becomes then one or an other drive as temporaly drive, or isn't so with this program. o_O

    I don't know exactly what, if anything at all, TI uses as a work area on a HD. My guess is that it does it all in RAM, - read a bunch of sectors, compress or whatever, and then write them to the output file.

    TI uses the pagefile.
    Not sure what it does with memory and temporary files.

    You can run the following while tI is running to see the growth in the page file.

    Page File Usage Monitor
