Fprot email scanning?

    Does it actually work and is it effective? I just added in my email address and I am wondering.

    FProt for windows does not scan emails unfortunately. The long-long-long anticipated FProt version 4 is supposed to have email scanning but no one knows when that will be available. The email you entered was for sending samples of anything the AV catches. Otherwise it is a very good virus program. Hope this answers your question...

    The Real Time Protector will take care of any scanning of attachments. They have said that they are getting closer to releasing Version 4, which will have an email scanner, incremental updating, and other nice features.

    The current version is a real great product.
