    Thank you.
    Those are all features.
I wonder if they fixed anything?
    Any security changes?

Lots, for example, it's a good feature for telling users to stop using their product and use a better alternative. :p

I asked Foxit for a changelog and they directed me to the readme.txt.

I think Foxit has lost their way. At least, with vn 5 they've lost me. I've switched to Nitro PDF Reader. It integrates a bit less well with browsers for multi-page documents, but is superior to Foxit in other respects. It's great for completing forms and I just used it for the first time to sign a contract. It did so perfectly, leaving the document's signature line intact despite descenders in my signature. Also, I had been using Nitro's PrimoPDF as our PDF printer driver, but the driver installed with the reader works well.

Nothing; it is still there, mrpink. :) However, act8192 stated being unable to find a download link in elapsed's "better alternative" link and I helped by providing not only the Download page, but also the direct download links detailed in that page. act8192 did not ask for the PA Platform version. ;)

    Thanks again.
Your first link is the same one I struggled through - it has no download other than for change list and bug tracking etc.
But your second link (amazonaws) to the installer works. I just downloaded it. How did you find it and why isn't it on the Sumatra page in the first place. Weird.

elapsed's link and JR's link have the download link prominently displayed on the Sumatra PDF page. I don't know why you aren't seeing it, unless it's your browser.

Edit in: elapsed's link ( http://blog.kowalczyk.info/software/sumatrapdf/free-pdf-reader.html ) seems to be the one that shows the download link consistently. Strangely, I am now seeing it come and go on these links. o_O

Could be the browser. Here's how it goes for me - first the main link takes me here
    NoDownloadButton1.png

then I click and it's not there
    NoDownloadButton2.png

I did download from the direct link, installed and it looks like a very nice reader.

OK, if you have NoScript installed (assuming you are using Firefox), you need to allow kowalczyk.info in order to see this:
