    I was shocked to see that the free Foxit PDF Reader is 144MB big, what the heck happened? :gack:

    the funny thing for years is that foxit (any program) is phoning home a lot by default, firewall or not.

    On my pc was 400 MB. And somethign went wrong during the installation process, so his uninstaller didn't work and I was not able to uninstall it. Neither Revo Uninstaller was, I finally uninstalled it with Geek Uninstaller. And again remained some keys in the Register.

    400megs? wtf?
    PDF-X Change Viewer has portable 30megs, its a reduced to the max.
    PDF-X Editor x64 has (reduced to the max) 180megs (x86 has 100megs) - and this one is supperior to foxit.
    Sumatra portable has 25megs.

    well, Foxit Reader had installed ~500megs (sandboxie). simply too big for showing pdf files and few free features.

    I wanted to check it out, because Sumatra has got a tiny bug. But last time I checked was years ago and then Foxit PDF Reader was only 15MB or so, so it's shocking to see how bloated it has become. But it's probably because you will als get the full Foxit PDF Editor version. Now I'm going to check out PDF-XChange Viewer instead.

    Sumatra is too small not to include nifties. report your issue(s) to develeoper!
    The pdf-x change viewer is outdated, 2 years or longer. The pdf-x editor as free version is current.

    my contact to foxit left with version 7.5, this is ages ago. i am able to examine and fix, but foxit is not worth the effort.
