I am just trying out BitDefender and have run a whole system scan and it has found several instances of 'JS Dino'

I cannot find any reference to this anywhere.

It seems to be confined to Mozilla, Thunderbird, Firefox folders. Presumably this is a bit of Javascript but what is it?

Many times AV vendors give the same sample very different names. So it may not be listed with other vendors under that name. I would try runnung your sample though http://virusscan.jotti.org/ and it might reveal another name for it.

    Just a thought!

    Thanks

Tried that. Most of them found nothing, but BitDefender confirmed JS Dino

Dr Web saw it as Exploit.Format

    Kapersky saw Exploit.IE.Params.b

I am none the wiser but does it mean anything to anyone else. Incidentally I do not use IE
