Forums down last night?

    Hi, was wondering if the forums here were down for a while last night (Wed. evening, Eastern time), or maybe just extra-busy for some reason? Several times I tried to get in, but each time Firefox gave up after a while of "Waiting for ....".

    Server problems here have been quite rare, probably thanks mainly to LWM's incredible and laudable 30-hours-a-day input. :thumb: And on the rare occasion when there has been a problem, he's usually been right on the button with a redirect to an appropriate apology message.

    Just curious, didn't see any mention of this anywhere here, so it might just have been something at my end.

    Maintenance or server probs for a few hours (I think)

    If it was regular maintenance, I suppose LWM would have said so before.

    It's hard to say just when we were up versus down. A power failure at the hosting company started it and there were a lot of problems recovering after, so we were up and down a lot over about 7-8 hours, but no posts were lost.
