After much pain trying to recover a borked HDD, I am left with a new 80GB HDD with only C: on it, and the (previously borked) 250GB HDD. The 250 shows up in the BIOS, but not windows, or in DD10. It shows up in DD10 from the DOS bootable, from which I wiped it. The option to Format is not available, it just shows the whole drive as unallocated. I am guessing that I need to format the drive, but I can't see how from DD10. Am I missing something?
