    Hey Gordon,

Can you save a Scan log and near the bottom can you post the lines of the Blocked sites as long they are not malicious?

    Thanks,

    Daniel

Are you just seeing this over the tray icon? If so, that's intentional. If it is a website being blocked, then that's different. Could you post a screenshot?

Everything is OK Joe the 2013 Web Shield in the 2014 product was blocking a few sites but the New Web Shield with BrightCloud shows all good!

The tray icon is intentional as Prevx said. The little locker in the tray icon shows that identity shield is protecting the foreground window. That's why it says "foreground window is protected by Identity Shield"

The website blocking is completly irrelevelant of this. The WebShield does the site blocking:

    Hey G,

Just click Allow for now till the new Web Shield is rolled out to you the rest of WSA and it's Shields will continue to protect you.

Correct nothing to do with the Web Shield and the"foreground window is protected by Identity Shield" shows on the Tray Icon when you hover over it with the cursor and the little yellow Padlock should be there also!

    Cheers,

    Daniel ;)

DA always makes me worry. They have a long and sordid history of carrying infected advertisements that continues to this day. Last time I saw an infection served directly from them was last week*, and all it takes is one page on the site being infected to cause the whole site to get blocked.

(*Advert had AS to test the visitor against a blacklist of location and then to load a BEK site with a TDL4 payload. Confirmed by hand, not by "AV Sez so!")
