Last year the wife and I lost our best friend also after 15 year of faithful companionship. We all share your loss in words that are hard to express...but those memories of the good times we had together carried us through the hard times. We keep a photo of her on the fridge now that gives us a smile and a tear..as she watches us each day with those big brown eyes.

We are thinking of you guys.... :-*

I can and will never understand why we have to die and all the Pain and Love we have for our Family and others. Its very difficult and very troubling...
The ways of the world that we live in, The ways of Life is very confusing to me. God bless you and your Family Dog in this hard time for you. Keep strong in your faith and your trust in God to keep you strong. always rest ashured that there is indeed a better place out there other than here as in heaven.... May the Lord comfort you and embrace you in his arms in this troubling time. GOD Loves you and theres a reason for everything.

You will always have friends here that care and Love You. need anything at alll
    Just Bark.... your friend beefcarver.

We've had a few pets pass away.....
some we've had to have put to sleep younger than they should've had to be.
So, we totally understand your heartache.
I read that your sweet dog was sick. Try to remember, she's not hurting anymore.

    I hope this helps.

~since making that post last Feb.^.....
Barney, our older dog, became paralyzed, had to be put to sleep,
and is now buried in his favorite spot in our backyard.
We had Barney for around 16 yrs. also.
But, you know, its the pets we had to put down before they were allowed to live out 'full' lives...
that, I believe, upset us the most. ~

:'( While we haven't had a dog in a long long time, we do have cats, and I can identify with how you feel. I send my sympathy.

The last cat we had to put down was most likely the most obnoxious animal on the face of the earth, but I was tore up for weeks.

Take a look at "The Widman's life stories thread".

    Thanks
    Wildman

I haven't been around much lately ... so I missed this thread - Thanks Guys and Gals.

BTW - I'd like to introduce the newest member of the Family ... Angel :ninja:

    6 Weeks old - Lab/Husky - 10LBs

Angel would be the reason for my absence lately ... Puppy Power err Training is time consuming and exhausting :p

I can well relate to this, I have five dogs inside my house and around 10 outside, I have already lost one and that almost broke us all in the family, even when a outside stray dog dies, it hurts us immensely, my wife feeds them all and that include few mongooses, a jackal couple.

    My sympathies with you.
