[For avast! users] avast! External Control "tweak tool"

    Now it seems that works fine ;)

    Suggestion: It would be nice if we double click in one item of the AEC list and run the selection. What you think about it?

    +Changed update interval tweaker according to the internal limit of 2 hours
    +Added avast! Components Launcher module
    +Added warning dialogs if avast! directory isn’t detected
    +Startup and memory scanner moved to External On-Demand Scanner
    +Enhanced External On-Demand scanner (ashQuick component)
    +Added Startup section scan to External On-Demand scanner
    +Added Physical Memory Scan (Normal) to External On-Demand scanner
    +Added Physical memory Scan (Thorough) to External On-Demand scanner
    +Added Precise Edition detection (AEC now rejects to work with any other edition except with Home and Pro)
    +VRDB folder changing removed since its better to keep it default

    +Fixed AEC return to selection menu after launching avast! Uninstall Utility
    +Fixed major bug in External On-Demand Scanner
    +Redesigned avast! Tweaker
    +Enahanced avast! directory detection and warning dialogs regarding this
    +Enhanced External On-Demand Scanner file/folder scanning
    +Added XML/ODBC text to Storage Database Method function so you can locate it faster
    +Many other small improvements

    I recommend you update it since it fixes quiet a lot bugs.
    Its interestng how many bugs you get when the software becomes more complex :)

    There was still another issue in v1.5.350. I released build 351 which fixes this.
    If you have older version or you have already downloaded build 350 then please update it to build 351.

    New in version 1.5.351:
    +Fixed tweaker checkbox state detection

    Sorry for any problems it may have coused.

    +Added “Show details on performed action” tag number limit tweak

    I have also added version number and release date to the webpage for my programs,so you can track when it was last updated.

    Hi RejZoR,

    Thanks for the avast! External Control update :)

    I already know what I have to change on the avast ini file to have the settings that I want, but my friends doesn't... :D

    Nice to see that you "Remove some functions not related to avast!"...

    If you can make your utility in tabs for better management... ;)
