Hi all, I have some problem that I can not resolve. Every e-mail that I have or send has an footer in it like this: __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 3948 (20090319) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus How can I disable it for good. I don't won't that?
That should be OFF by default... but as long new nod32 user dont know where it is, they will just advertise for eset... free ads... wtf
It's a very easy setting to find though, it takes seconds. And no worse than Microsoft setting MSN as the hompage with IE, and installing loads of Microsoft sites in your Favourites (sorry, Favorites!) folder. Jim
Well Jim - I don't agree on that because NOD32 actually changes existing mails and as the message can't be removed from your mails again automatically when you turn it Off it should be Off by default. The things you mention don't get sent out to other people and can all be easily changed which the advertisement for NOD32 can't.
Ok. But now that you know you can disable it, then that's the problem solved. Defaults are just that -defaults, not preferences. I also disable the footer, but at work we have it enabled (not my choice).
Ok now I know how to disable it but how can I remove the footer that NOD32 just have put in my existing messages? I don't like it en don't want it.
OK thanx but I think it's little bit weird. I buy some software so I don't want any footer messages in my messages. At least I shoud be able to remove it.
