Flickr is ditching Yahoo account requirement and giving Pro subscribers unlimited storage November 1, 2018 https://venturebeat.com/2018/11/01/...and-giving-pro-subscribers-unlimited-storage/
Flickr was so cool 4me back in say 2005 while toting the Motorola E815 clamshell. Used to sail those pics lightning fast (3G) and they landed nicely on your own Flickr's Photostream for public viewing. But that was then. Nice to hear this new news that a Yahoo account won't be a prerequisite anymore for logging in to it. Since it's barely used on this end anymore and nothing like when it first came out, I suppose there's not a lot of disappointment about the storage capacity change for this free user anyway. However many who really relied on that generous storage ability won't be happy, not would I either. Appreciate the heads up on the new login change preference coming up soon in a couple months.
