    today i download letest flashget nod32 detect it as
    flashget181en.exe »WISE »fgupdate.dll - probably a variant of Win32/Adware.Boran application

    It isn't false positive . FlashGet is real adware and is also detected by lots of (antispyware) programs such as Spybot S&D , McAfee Antispyware , Panda ...

    It's being investigated, but other AVs detect it as well for sure.

    i scan it at virustotal.com no antivirus pick it up
    i upload it but ronjor delete it

    I use that version of flashget, but nod32 found nothing... :cautious:

    FlashGet is freeware now, i have the last version 1.81 installed and is 100% clean, maybe the FlashGet site is devastated by some malware try to download FlashGet from another location:

    Seems the only info found concerning fgupdate.dll is from Chinese versions not english. You sure you downloaded the English version and from the site you said you downloaded it from ? Or was this part of a torrent download ?

    Old news. Flashget has gone clean and is 100% legit now.

    I use Flashget and NOD32 2.7 (both English versions) and I have no problems.
