    about:cache?device=disk

Find the content you're looking for, click on it, it'll give some information about that content, right click on the url -> Save Link As

When I do that on Youtube I get an html file. It will be in cache though, but only after the download has finished i.e. one can't for example after initiating a 1GB download go to the cache and r/click 'save linked content as' in order to download the complete 1GB video from scratch. With Opera you can.

Sorry for nitpicking - not really of major concern. :)

What's the difference? You leave the YouTube tab and continue your browsing, after the download is complete you pick the file from cache. Instead of right clicking the url, look at "file on disk" to get the path to the local cached file.
