First look at Notepad's Spell Checker

    According to the comments under the article not all users would agree about the 'love'.
    I use it daily but for its most basic reason.. as a notepad.

    I'm still using it so far but I tend to agree with the comments. It's no longer a basic text editor. If it reaches the point where I can no longer paste text in it to remove the formatting it will get replaced.

    It turned up today for me. Viewable via cog settings in notepad.
    Options were turned on by default

    I'm on the Release Preview channel so I've had it for a while. It doesn't seem to hurt much other than slowing things down but that's an issue with the new Notepad in general.

    I use WordPad all the time. Why in the world MS wanted to kill it is beyond me. They're getting as bad as Google about making changes no one cares about or wants, and introducing absolute crap.
