    By default, WF doesn't block outgoing traffic, while FAB in WhiteList Mode does

    I did check myself.
    If you select WhiteList Mode, FAB actually changes the settings in Windows Firewall to block outgoing connections unless an allow rule is present.
    It looks quite good, you can run it when you need and then close it, so it won't waste system resources.
    When you set a custom rule, it doesn't allow to specify protocol and ports, but it allows all the traffic (inbound or outgoing)

    It doesn't show the default Windows Firewall rules, but only rules added later
