When running tor and privoxy together, is all DNS requests supposed to be handled by the tor nodes? What happen if using the default value for network.proxy.socks_remote_dns?

    thx.

When using Tor, you need to set network.proxy.socks_remote_dns to True (if you do not use the TBB) in order to override your local DNS server from knowing your Tor destination. This means that a remote Tor node will handle the DNS request.
