Firefox is official available when announced here:
    https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
    (or getting via AUS)

    and no where else!

XP users cant load - they need to get v43 and have to use AUS (update channel)

nevertheless the release folder is filled.

i never will load firefox from any other servers than mozilla. mozilla also distribute special builds for other sites i dont know if MG is distributing a special build with adware for MG itself. web.de has a special edition which anytime causes trouble.

Just for your own edification, as you may want to download some app from there someday, MG never, never, ever has adware. It's is the cleanest, fastest site there is (Well, I guess I can't prove that!). I assume Mozilla provides MG with the file and have been doing this for years without issue. Back to Firefox, the thing is, Sandboxie users can't install via update so MG is the quickest way to get it!
edit: bye the way, I failed to mention that with Firefox updates it just links to Mozilla's site anyway.

sometimes i load something from MG - rare moments.
"update" within firefox dont open mozilla - or am i misunderstanding that phrase?

we should switch the conversation to here:
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/new-firefox-browser-version-released.361562/

btw 45.8.0 esr is also ready to load
    http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all.html
there will be 45.9.0 esr and that could be the last build before those users are forced to upgrade to 52esr (like all XP users - with no exceptions)

Yes, I've never seen adware on MG, but MG doesn't offer HTTPS, and Mozilla does, plus Firefox has hardcoded certificate pinning for Mozilla.

USA still the best. But barely.
My FF stopped syncing. Could it be v52 dl are hammering ff servers & that's why my sync stopped? Never happened before.

Edit: SOLVED Started syncing again on it's own.
