    Any confirmation yet on if/when FF4 is supported in Prevx3 & SOL (or do we have to wait for V4)? I guess many people will be updating to V4 from today.

    Prevx website says only v3, though I guess it is not updated too often as it does still state only Chrome 2/3 are supported and we are now a v10.

    Firefox 4 is working fine with Prevx 3.0.5.220 here. You should not need to wait until v4 is released to enjoy the benefits of Firefox 4.

    A new build for Prevx 3 will be available after beta testing is complete. (It has been announced in the beta forum.)

    Not here it isn't. Installed Firefox 4 now the Prevx tab is nowhere to be seen, and there is an acre of space at the top for it should it wish to appear!!

    My Prevx auto-updated sometime yesterday to 3.0.5.229 (didn't know there was an update!) and is not working with Firefox 4.

    Version .220 S/O is NOT working here. Tried to change but was unable to do so. Feel sure Prevx will come out shortly w/a fix, so I'm just going to "wait and see".

    Please make your Browser window smaller as the Tab could be on top of the window if it is there just open the tab and Drag it to where you want it as I'm still using FF3!

    I apologise as I rarely use SOL in Prevx, but when enabling it I can confirm it is not visible in Firefox 4, minimised or otherwise.

    Apart from that, v3.0.5.220 co-exists with FF4 without any problems other than the one mentioned.

    SafeOnline In Prevx 3 does not fully support Firefox 4. There are some cases where it will still work properly but it may not on all installations. Until Prevx 4 is released to beta, we recommend using Firefox 3, IE8/9 or another supported browser.

    Even though I can understand the hard work being put toward Prevx 4, I am a bit disappointed by this. PrevxHelp, will Prevx 3 ever be fully functional with Firefox 4?

    +1.
    I'd be interested to know on what configs it actually works.
    Anyone here on Wilders who can find info on those with FF4+working Prevx SOL?

    I am a little surprised on the lack of FF4 support as lots of people will want to move to it now. Prevx has always been so quick before at supporting new releases. If as it seems Prevx3 cannot be updated to support it then we probably have a long wait for a full release of Prevx4 as it is yet to even enter beta (and running beta code on production machines is a non-starter for me and I guess many others). I love what Prevx has done for me over the last few years but staying on FF3 in the interim is not in my plans.

    It would be nice to get an up-to-date statement on what browsers/versions are supported/planned. As I said in the OP the support browsers list on the website is out-of-date, as shown below (http://www.prevx.com/safeonline.asp#browser):
    Code:
        * Internet Explorer (versions: 5/6/7/8)
        * Mozilla Firefox (versions: 1/2/3)
        * Google Chrome (versions: 2/3)
        * Opera (versions: 9/10)

    With more browsers to be supported in the future.
    I am also interested to know if it is OK to run FF4 & Chrome(or IE9) together with Prevx SOL installed so as to use the other browsers where SOL protection is needed. I.E. does SOL, in maybe trying to work/integrate with FF4, cause any problems in FF4s operation.

    PrevxHelp knows that the website needs to be updated! And I know it works well on Opera 10.63 also I can't speak for Chrome as I don't use it! He also said that Opera 11.01 will be supported with Prevx 4 also so as soon as the Beta gets to us we just need alittle patience! ;)

    This is still disappointing for me. It is like saying, "use Vista instead of Win 7 because it is supported". I am a fan of Prevx, I have long term licenses and want them to do well but I think this a disservice to have to wait for a beta build for Prevx 4. The question remains: Will Prevx 3 support Firefox 4? I am not looking to here, although it would be nice :D, tomorrow but in the near future.

    The public beta for Prevx 4 is coming soon enough that it would take longer to add in the support in Prevx 3 than it would to get the beta prepared for release. We're just finishing some minor additions for the entire architecture to work globally and redundantly and as soon as those are done, we will be releasing the beta :)
