Firefox 3-Dom storage

    I have noticed that firefox is not storing any information in the file that stores the so called dom storage cookies. Is this because, being fairly new, most sites are not accessing this feature, or because of one of the privacy settings in FF? I have FF set to clear all private data when closed, and I think it may be the "offline data " box being checked off that is doing this.
