    World will change in Av sectors, something like what i will think will happen more or less:
    Emsisoft (BD engine, but great BB), i'm not surpised if some one bigger will buy it
    ESET will merge with Bitdefender
    G-Data (lady of Kaspersky does have shares)
    F-Secure (is a joke for home users, no self protection at all)
    Mcafee<->FireEye
    etc

    Chinese Sangfor with WiseVector is the best combo at the moment.

    Yes I agree, we will see even more mergers. They need to make a stand against MS Defender ATP. :p

    The decision to rename itself reflects "the company's strategy to focus on Mandiant's security controls-agnostic solutions delivered through the Mandiant Advantage cloud-based platform." As part of that strategy, the company agreed in June to sell its FireEye Products business, including the FireEye name, to a consortium led by Symphony Technology Group..."

    I assume FireEye which is a household name will continued to be used by McAfee? And it's a bit confusing, because didn't Mandiant already was a IT security company?

    This move after rival Symantec was bought out by Broadcom, was to be expected.
