Yesterday's Technology supplement in The Guardian had a brief item about Finjan SecureBrowsing, which was described as "A free browser plug-in that scans the code of web pages before you visit them, and rates them for safety." Anyway, I downloaded the Firefox version and it seems to work. However, there was one very odd result. I was googling for a book review and came across one in The Age. SecureBrowsing marked the site as "Use caution: The category of this site is potentially unwanted." A bit of further googling showed that all sites linked to The Age were similarly rated. "So what?", you may say. However, The Age is one of Australia's oldest and best known newspapers. Can anyone explain why it has incurred this rating?
