Finding protection disabled

    Is it possible for something to come in and reset the kill bit?

    I've enabled all protection for both IE and the restricted sites, however after awhile on the Net if I open Spyware Blaster it will tell me somethings have been disabled. The latest being the "searchforit toolbar". All spyware programs running say I have a clean system and I renable protection.

    It seem others have had this problem as well.

    That's right, other people are having a similar problem, however, it has nothing to do with SpywareBlaster undoing protections or losing protections... It has to do with other anti-spyware products incorrectly removing some of SpywareBlaster's protections.

    Unfortunately, there is nothing SpywareBlaster can do to prevent other anti-spyware tools from removing the protections it sets. Those other products must stop doing that. See these threads for more on this issue:
