If this is the wrong forum sorry.

I am on a XP system at work that has a firewall.
Our IT guru does not know how to run it.
I do not know what brand it is or the model.

I want to use a Torrent program (Azuerus) or (winmx) and it needs a port.

All the "Port Scanners" I have found look from outside in & find nothing.
I need to find a port to go "Out".
Any ideas on how to find an open connection?

    Thanks for all your ideas.

You should try somthing like nmap or superscan info install this on the PC you want to connect out from, and then scan for a know (outside) IP that you know will reply. (maybe you have a pc at home you could set up to reply)
