Finding my W11P Key. Got 3 different results. Used 3 different methods. Got 3 different Keys. None match my original Key. Can't figure this out.
Is this a new install of Win 11 that you have bought? Is it a re-install ? (in which case the key is held digitally by Microsoft and there is no need for you to insert it) Which 3 methods did not work?
they could be generic if you use windows 10/11 as an upgrade to windows 7/8 while this was possible (no longer possible since 2024). the generic key is no secret, then please tell - first 5 token only! or you have a pre-activated windows from BIOS, and changed windows edition afterwards.
I did a fresh install of W11P OEM. The methods were regedit, power shell & CMD. All run as Admin. The install media was dl from M$ & then run through Rufus since my laptop is a ThinkPad T540P (2013). The key was from a sealed hologram taped install DVD.
