Finding backup description

    When you create a backup it tells you that you can enter a description which may help when restoring later. I enter description when asked but where is it when doing a restore? Hope I am not totally overlooking something here.

    Welcome to the Acronis True Image Forum.

    When you select the image to restore your comments appear in the righthand pane of the Restore Image Wizard as shown in the screenshot below.

    Now what about if the backup is in the secure zone? Will I be able to see description in there too?

    Yes, you will definitely see the description.

    You will not be able to select a file... you will be suggested to select the date and time of image creation and also you will be able to see the description of each file.

    Where will I see the description I looked in the same spot as if restoring a file not saved to secure zone but I don't se eit. Am I overlooking it?

    I mean in your screenshot is where I looked for description when using secure zone but didn't see it. Is it somewhere else?

    Well...

    On the screen shot above you should select Acronis Secure Zone and press the "Next" button. You will be suggested to select the date and the time when you created the image into Acronis Secure Zone. On the right you will see the description of every image.

    The above is true only if you have more than one image in Acronis Secure Zone (i.e. only one full image and no incrementals). If you have only one image you won't be able to see the description.

    Man I am glad you guys are here with these responses. Beats the heck out of the other company that has 'ghost' like support. I mean very little support :)
