"Find unregistered computers" doesn't work if I clear "Find from server" checkbox

I need to find all unregistered computers on the different subnet from server.
Server does have 10.44.2.0
All workstations have 10.44.32.0

I need to find all computers in 10.44.32.0 subnet. I need it because I want to monitor situation with computers. If I clear "find from server" checkbox it doesn't find anything. Why?

What are requirements for this function to work?
Can I achieve this goal in another way?

Are you able to ping those workstations with a different IP address? If Windows can see the machines then ERA should also.
