    Hi,

I am trying to understand the "create file complement" feature in the hard drive suite.

Running on Win7, if I first make a full backup of the "system reserved" and "C:" drive (where windows is installed) partitions and thereafter create file complements, would a restore of the image and then the latest file complement archive work ?
So, full backup of the two partitions
    file complement on the above
    file complement on the above
    and so on.
The reason is to save space and make backups more often since the complements are incremental. Since even the registry is stored as files in the system32\config folder.

The file compliment option is created after a full image has been created of a system. You then have the option to create a file compliment to that image archive. You would use it if you have only changed some core data on the system.
