    Hello.

    1. When i unchecked "Enable HTTP checking" my ping time is from about 600ms decreased onto about 60,70ms. This options is very uselessly. Is there anything more into NOD32 what can slow up latency time (ping)?

    2. Where to turn off when i am deleting .exe file to does not check NOD32 them? It is really not important when deleting something to check it.

    3. Is there any options which can slow up system? I need only basic configuration. It is not matter to check almost every thing. Please, can someone what can i turn it off? When i look i think what can i turn off it looks all important.

    Hello,

If you're using Windows Vista SP2 or Windows 7, try installing EAV 4.2 which has some improvements in the implementation of WFP support which might help in your case.

Files are scanned on access by default so the answer is yes. However, I don't understand why it's important to scan files when deleting them, more important is to have them scanned upon execution.

Advanced heuristics as well as runtime packers are not used on access/execution by default. Enabling them might give you extra protection in certain cases at the cost of performance impact.

I believe you've misunderstood him Marcos. He's asking "Where can I switch off scanning on delete, as it's unimportant to scan when deleting". My guess is that he's experiencing a big delay when simply deleting files.

    @jimwillsher

You are right. I mean how you wrote it.

I do not need full security. I want for a bit to reduce it.
Can i turn off safe from these pictures?

Deleting files is the operation of accessing files. Apparently Rocky has both runtime packers and advanced heuristics enabled on file access which are not enabled by default. When enabling these options, the user is warned that doing so might have adverse effect on performance. I'd suggest reveting to default settings which might speed up file operations.

As for beta 4.2, it was announced here. It will go final shortly as no serious problems have been found or reported during the beta testing.

For every set-up to click "Default". And to leave all by default?

I have everything set to default with no significant performance hit to my system of any sort. The only things I change are the cleaning options; when something is detected, to always ask me what to do (ThreatSense cleaning level set to no cleaning) - but that's just my personal preference.

    Hello,

i also have Win 7 x64 and maybe i can "finish" it for you.

I use all settings just on default. That works really quick for me.

I use only two settings tweaks: 1 turn of splash screen at startup, 2 set an max limit for file size for scanning archives.

If you use default on all and set your own http scanning settings I am sure it will be fast.

(Advanced Heuristics are off by default)

Next to that I hope the final of 4.2 is coming soon. I can't be bothered of installing the beta. Can't be bothered of installing 4.2 beta in English, and when final comes out (I guess really soon) installing 4.2 final in Dutch again.

oh dear this is what a few of us commented on and feared.

Which one do you mean in particular? What problem did you have with v. 4.2 that you didn't have with v. 4.0?
