Feature Request - View log button on "Log" page

A useful feature would be an extra button (eg. "View log") on the "Log" page, which when clicked would open a text editor with the log.

This would come in handy when you want to immediately capture the logs contents (maybe when you want to post the logs contents if you are having problems).

It would be nice if you could set the app to use as the text editor in the Options.

 

This could easily be done through a plugin.
You won't have a direct button but an extended menu with a button close to the Look button.

Haven't used plugins much, so can the plugin still be configured to launch a specific app (ie. text editor) ?

yes it can be done with a plugin.
A plugin being a complete code (the code given on the website is a C++ plugin)
you can launch any application you want.

Shouldn't be hard to do, but unfortunaly I do not code in Visual C++.
For now I wasn't able to translate the Plugin code start, to my language.

May be a Visual C++ coder reading this forum could do that ?
