    Hello

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for the delayed response.

Please note that the standalone version of Acronis True Image supports UDF. However, UDF versions higher than 2.01 are not supported when using Acronis True Image Bootable Rescue CD. So we recommend you to use UDF version 2.01 or lower. Please have a look at this FAQ article about supported DVD discs types.

Please note that when booted from Acronis True Image Bootable CD the standalone version of Acronis True Image loads to RAM and, therefore, you can not set default backup options. However, during backup creation you can set: archive protection, compression level, archive splitting and validate backup archive upon operation completion under additional settings.

    Thank you.

I have created my Bootable Rescue Media with the latest build
    (3854).

When started from Bootable Rescue Media, ATIES can not read a UDF DVD
backup file created by the same (latest) version of ATIES in Windows XP. So there is no way to
restore a system from DVD backup. If you cannot add a proper UDF
support to Bootable Rescue Media, then would you at least add an
option of creating backup files in ISO format when writing directly to
    DVD?
In this way, I can create an ISO backup DVD, from which system can be
    restored with Bootable Rescue Media.

    Thanks.
