FCC approves first wireless 'power-at-a-distance' charging system

    I don't think will be of much use until wireless devices have the receiver side integrated into the devices. As it is right now, to use it on your cell phone, for example, you have to have a receiver dongle connected to the USB/charger port of the cell phone. This would not be convenient plugged in full time, so it would mean plugging it in every night. That is no better than plugging in a charging cable.

    So, wait and see.
