    Yes, and I can imagine that these people could also be tricked into running malware via LinkedIn, and as we all know AV's aren't bulletproof. Yet another reason why it sometimes does make sense to run extra protection tools. Although I do have to say that these people were very gullible, I mean why would you all of a sudden transfer money to some account not controlled by you? And I assume these accounts were hosted by companies like Crypto.com and Coinbase, or perhaps these were fake websites? That would make it even dumber.
