    A friend is *pretty sure* she has first ver. of WIN98, on her PC. She'd like to have fax software: freeware is preferable, due to her budget.
    Any ideas what to get, and from where - a good, simple, very basic fax program?

    Not easy, but it works and the basic version is freeware: http://www.5star.nsm.co.uk/Utilities/FaxUtilities/callcenter.html
    I use it on my ME box.
