Faronics Anti-Executable registration

Hi all,

can anyone answer me these questions regarding Faronics Anti-Executable?

- Is a license a computer license? You have to buy one license per computer. Key based on hardware?
- Does AE make use of an online activation or is the registration a complete offline process?
- Is there still the incompatibility of AE and Sandboxie?

 

As far as individuals are concerned, yes it is a license per computer. Institutions might have a different deal. I don't think the key is hardware based.

When you buy the product, included is a year maintenance which means you can access your account with Faronics (via password). On your account there's a key for your product which will remain valid to download any upgrade within the year of maintenance.

No, they've fixed this problem.
