False Positives

    Hi Guys! Is there a simple way to determine if a pest is actually a pest? Some progs. are known for false Id's of pests & easy determination of pest status would vindicate some. Thanks!

    Googling for the name given by a particular application may work, and many antivirus and antitrojan companies include a searchable database on their websites. File submission for analyzing is always good also. When all else fails, I have seen filenames etc. posted here with the situation and somebody usually shows up with some knowledge of the critter in question.
