False Positives - Win32/Adware.Cinmus

    I just received the newest virus definitions 3689 (20081214) and my computer started going nuts with Win32/Adware.Cinmus alerts. This is happening for software I know is good. For example: Installer for Notepad++ 5.1.2 / Secunia PSI 1.0 / Handbrake 0.9.3 are just a few of them.

    Edit: It seems anything with an NSIS installer is detected.

    Same here, was working on an update for my install script with NSIS when my PC started went cuckoo with alerts. Seems to be coming from the zlib file NSIS uses. I get detections on the file when trying to compile, and detections for every app built with NSIS.

    Hope they fix this quickly.

    Excellent. Had an issue with this. 3690 does indeed fix this. :)
