False Positive? vscopy.exe

    Hi!

    For years, I have been using both Avira Antivir free and a utility called vscopy.exe . Suddenly, Avira is detecting vscopy.exe as a virus. None of the other AV programs at VirusTotal report it.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    And until AVIRA's Lab fixes the issue, you can temporary exclude the file's location from being scanned (of just the particular file). You'll have to do it for the system scanner (on-demand scanner) and for the realtime file system protection module.
