I used to live in Fort Scott. You're definitely not kidding... absolutely beautiful. Of course it might have helped that we lived on acreage with our own woods, 2 huge stocked ponds, and a horse. Never had any of that after moving into town when we moved to Texas

Well Texas is huge; I have lived in south to central Texas. Near the north end some looks a lot more like Kansas.
