Fake online reviews and testimonials are a headache for small businesses. They hope the FTC can help

    I wouldn't trust any small business reviews or testimonials. I've seen too many times they are written by family and friends of the businesses owner(s). The positive ones anyway. :D The bad ones are written by people that don't like them. Legitimate reviews are more likely to be negative as those people would be more motivated to leave one in the first place. This probably isn't solvable, at least not entirely.

    i use the firefox review function, most times for amazon(de) - and i consider it as valuable.
    my latest buying based it this, and i was not disappointed.
