Not a major issue at this moment !
Having two pc's running Drive Image 7 without any problems for months.
Last week my wifes pc would not let me restore via windows, coming up with the message " Failed to write to sector 0 of hard disk 1 " after clicking the reboot icon.
The restore works perfectly using the boot disc.

    Celeron 1.1Gb 256 ram, 20Gb HD

Any ideas what would be causing this error?
Have repaired Drive Image via add and remove, but at this stage have not un-installed and re-installed.

    Thanks in advance.

This is the Acronis TrueImage Forum. Not to be confused with Symantec/PowerQuest Drive Image! Which are you using? *puppy*

Thank you! Now, restoring from what to what?

Have seen this and it sounds like "something" of significance has changed with the PC in question since you were able to do restores previously and now you can not.

Since I do not have a whole lot to go on here, try uninstalling (completely!) TI and then reinstalling it. That one simple thing seems to resolve a lot of issues and is referred to in the user documentation. *puppy*
