OK, firstly a hello to everyone on this forum. I am a newbie here but not a newbie to Acronis True Image or to forums.

I have had True Image since version 9. I am now at version 11.

I have a system that I set up with an Intel X-25 80GB SSD system drive. It is connected to a standard SATA-300 port off the Mainboards (Asus P6T Deluxe) SATA ports. I pull the raid controller that have the additional storage out of its PCIe slot as I have found that True Image does not like some raid controllers present when running from the boot CD. This has worked flawlessly hundreds of times on other systems, but on this particular one it fails to see the source disk which is the Intel SSD. Yet in the bios, it is clearly their as a primary master and is listed as the first boot device after the optical drive, of course.

Has any one had this problem? What might I try to resolve this?

    Thank to all in advance,

    George

Acronis people do not appear to monitor this forum continuously and I get the feeling they do them once a day. Also, this is a very international forum and so their time zone may not align well with yours.

If you want a fast response try the Acronis Live Chat. I'd say that the TI CD Linux stuff does not understand your hardware, your board is a fairly new one and is designed for the latest processor. You probably need an updated .iso to burn a new rescue CD.

    Hello Hi_Def and seekforever,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Hi_Def, could you please let me know the build number of the product, which you can find in the Help -> About dialog (it should be a 3 or 4 digit number)?

The way to resolve this is to download special ISO image to recreate a CD. Please send us your serial number for the produce via PM with the link to this thread and we will give you this ISO.

We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.

    Thank you.
