    Hello shaileshal,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please be aware that the free trial version of Acronis True Image 9.0 that you have downloaded from our web site requires online registration which sometimes fails because of the temporary internet connection problems, firewall or proxy server settings or for some other reasons.

I've sent you a Private Message with the download link for the free trial version of Acronis True Image 9.0 that does not require the online registration.

    Thank you.

I also have this same problem. I have been trying repeatedly to install the demo version and I keep getting the Failed to Register message. The thing is that the installer is not actually trying to contact your server, (otherwise I would receive a request from my firewall to approve the connection). I have tried rebooting, but the installer keeps giving the same error. Thanks for any help!

Can I have the link too please, I'm getting the same message. As I've been trying for a few days now, at different times, the problem clearly isn't website traffic.
I am concerned though at two things. The first is that, should I decide to buy the product, will I have the same problem registering my purchase before I can use it?
My second is the irritation with companies that want my personal details before they'll even let me look at the product. When I go to a shop and try on a jacket I'm not asked for my full name, address, and e-mail before I can touch it. I can see absolutely no reason why an online company wants such info. What kind of a buzz do they get from storing all that info about people who aren't even their customers, and may never be?
