    Acronis True Image 2009 Home

    With one of my regular backups, every time it runs, the backup stops at some point with the above mentioned error (specifically mentioning the file or folder named "." ). If I press Ignore in the error box, then the backup contines, and the result seems to be Ok.

    How do I remove this error? (i.e. prevent it from happening)

    Hello andrewfg,

    Thank you for using Acronis True Image

    1) What is the build number of the program? Do you backup a partition or files and folders?

    2) Please obtain the log file of the failed operation:

    - Launch the program;
    - Tasks and logs, Log;
    - Choose the log entry which contains errors and make right-click on it;
    - Select save option and specify the desired location for the log file to save to;
    - Send us the log.

    3) - Open Start\Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Information;
    - Choose the "Save" option in the "File" menu (or "Action" menu under Windows 2000), enter the "File name" and set the field "Save as type" to "System Information File (*.NFO)";
    - Send us the saved file.

    Collect the required information and contact Acronis Support here

    Thank you.

    I have the same problem, hitting "ignore" or "try again" will make the backup proccess continue, but it wont work in silent mode.
    My log under another post with Subject: File I/O error (0x40011) (0xFFF0) code = 8007001F

    Thanks for any help you may have.

    Hello all,

    Thank you for using Acronis True Image

    ednachman, submit a request to Acronis Customer Service Department and attach the files to your request.

    greggy101, please do not place the same issue twice to different threads.

    Thank you.

    Any fix to this problem? I'm also having this problem. Is this due to SQL services running, folder permsissions, access priveleges, etc?

    The KB and help files are really of no help....
