I call bs on that because chances are they are already listening and monitoring and survelliancing your conservations on Facebook. So why anyone would use Facebook and expect an iota of privacy is beyond me. Like certain websites and people have already said, Facebook is the world's biggest repository of personal information for government agencies, and Facebook makes most, if not all, of its money from selling your information to private corporations and advertising agencies for advertisement purposes or the government for allowing the government to keep tabs on political dissidents and "criminals" (more like people the government does not want the average citizen to like) and whoever pays Facebook a handsome amount of money for the fb users' personal info.

Yes. And the fact that maintaining ~anonymous accounts is virtually impossible for most people. So it's only criminals, trolls and bots that have them.

...and everything else a microphone can be used for? Not buying Zuckerbergs two lousy reasons, let alone everything else.

Those 7 patents are pretty disgusting. However if it wasn't Zuckerberg, for sure it'd be someone else. It fits the times.

Doesn't conclusively say these are all for FB users only. My biggest contention with FB is about non users. Consent is one thing, albeit gained in the most devious way possible, but non consent can only be termed as STALKING, something in the not too distant past you'd likely be thrown in jail for and something akin to scraping the bottom of the barrel - as in the creep factor (thinking of dirty old peeping toms etc)

Zuckerberg is morally bereft of ANY semblance of decency. What a hypocrite. Doesn't like his own life in the public eye and thinks nothing of extracting every possible piece of information to make even a cent out of every single person to add to his billions. This is a despot on an unprecedented level. Zuckerberg needs to line up with other scum ready for a flogging at the stocks then imprisoned (throw away the key) for all the damage lives he's caused. When people throw away their privacy to such an extent, the damage is far-reaching, unimaginably devastating and in many cases un-fixable. Yes people are responsible for their choices, but it's not so cut and dried when someone uses such deception as Zuckerberg and his minions.
